Contractor Network Privacy Notice

Last updated: July 24, 2026

The Contractor Network is the public portal of Prospector, the Service Alignment surface for roofing contractors. A contractor uses it to check territory availability by shop address and to apply for the service seat in that territory. This notice explains what the portal collects and how that information is handled. It supplements, and is consistent with, the Service Alignment Privacy Policy, which governs all Service Alignment surfaces and carries our SMS messaging program disclosures.

Information You Provide

A territory application includes your company name, contact name, business email address, business phone number, shop address, years in business, and crew size. Your shop address is geocoded to map coordinates so it can be evaluated against territory boundaries.

Territory Availability Checks

When you check availability, your entered address is evaluated against active service territories and applications under review. The answer discloses only whether a territory is open, claimed, or in review — never who holds a territory or who has applied for it. Your own application receives the same protection: availability answers shown to anyone else never reveal your company, your identity, or the existence of your specific application.

Application Verification Tokens

Submitting an application does not immediately store it. Your application is signed into a verification token that expires after 24 hours, and a verification link containing that token is emailed to the business email you provided. The personal and business details inside the token are additionally encrypted, so the emailed link does not expose your application details to systems that record web addresses, such as server access logs or browser history. Your application is recorded on our systems only after you open the verification link; a link that is never opened leaves nothing stored, and an expired link simply requires re-applying.

One-Seat Review

A verified application enters a review queue read by a Service Alignment operator. Territories currently operate with a single service seat, so applications for a territory are reviewed rather than automatically accepted. The review decision (approved or declined) is recorded together with the reviewer and a timestamp so decisions stay accountable.

Declined Applications and Retention

If your application is declined, we retain the application record and the review decision. A company that was declined may re-apply later; a re-application resets the record to a fresh pending application while preserving the prior review history, so a later decision can be made with the full picture. You may request access to or deletion of your information as described in the Service Alignment Privacy Policy.

Optional OpenAI and Google Measurement

When applications are open, the public Contractor Network page may offer optional OpenAI and Google advertising measurement. Both tags are off by default and do not load or make provider network requests until a measurement choice has been resolved and you permit the applicable provider. If no public measurement ID is configured, measurement stays disabled.

A campaign URL may carry the opaque OpenAI opprefidentifier, a Google gclid, gbraid, or wbraid identifier, and limited utm_campaign labels. The portal allowlists, normalizes, and bounds those fields. Before consent, it keeps them only in page memory and the application form payload, together with the current consent state; it does not use local storage for opaque click IDs or log the raw query string.

The browser may send a page-view event after consent. It does not send an application, approval, qualified lead, roof walk, job, or revenue conversion. OpenAI and Google identifiers remain in separate provider payloads and are not used as one shared identity. Any future server conversion matching will use one-way hashed contact data only where legally permitted and covered by consent, with a separate matching contract for each provider.

The browser tags do not receive the company, contact, email, phone, shop address, application decision, SMS opt-in record, customer list, or Service Alignment chat content. OpenAI measurement does not provide Service Alignment with access to a person’s ChatGPT chats. We retain application-linked attribution fields for up to 90 days and then delete or de-identify them unless a shorter period is required by a withdrawal or deletion request.

You may continue without measurement, change your choice through the on-page Measurement choices control, clear the consent cookie, or contact privacy@servicealignment.ai. Withdrawing consent stops future browser measurement events.

SMS / Text Messaging

With your consent, Service Alignment may send you text messages related to your inquiry and our roofing services — for example, follow-ups to a call or email, delivery of a roof report link, and appointment confirmations. Consent is obtained verbally during a live phone conversation with a Service Alignment representative: the representative asks for your permission to text you the roof report, follow-up information, and appointment confirmations, and discloses that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, that consent is not a condition of purchase, and that you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Only after you answer affirmatively does an authenticated representative record your consent, including its granted status, the verbal-call source, the acting representative, and a timestamp. Automated text messages are not sent unless that consent record exists. Where offered, consent may also be captured through a web form or text keyword. Providing consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message; you will receive a single confirmation that you are unsubscribed and will receive no more messages, and no further texts. To opt back in, reply START. Reply HELP or INFO at any time for help with your roof report or messages — you will receive a message directing you to support@servicealignment.ai — or contact us using the details below.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers that help us deliver messaging (such as our SMS provider) and only as needed to send the messages you have consented to receive. No mobile opt-in data is shared with third parties for marketing.
