Roof Health Privacy Notice
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Roof Health is the Service Alignment surface for roofing customers: people who own, manage, or maintain commercial roofs and request a roof review of their property. This notice explains what the Roof Health surface collects and how that information is handled. It supplements, and is consistent with, the Service Alignment Privacy Policy, which governs all Service Alignment surfaces and carries our SMS messaging program disclosures.
The Roof Review waiting page offers a separate, optional one-message notification. If you enter a mobile number and check the adjacent, unchecked consent box, we may send one automated text from Service Alignment when that Roof Review is ready. This purpose-limited consent does not enroll you in marketing or recurring messages. We record the disclosure version, purpose, number, timestamp, and each consent or revocation event. You may remove the request on the waiting page before delivery, reply STOP to opt out, or reply HELP for help.
Information You Provide
To request a roof review, you provide the commercial property street address, your email address, and an attestation that you own, manage, or maintain the property. For portfolio requests, you may provide a list of property addresses along with one verified email address. We do not ask for payment details, credentials, or personal identifiers beyond your email on this surface.
How the Property Address Is Processed
The address you enter is geocoded to map coordinates so we can check it against active service coverage areas and determine whether the property is eligible for a roof review. If the property is outside current coverage, we may keep the request on a coverage waitlist, as stated in the response you see at submission.
Email Verification and Secure Tokens
Before any roof review begins, we send a verification link to the email address you entered, asking you to confirm that you own, manage, or maintain the property. The request and verification tokens in those links are stored on our systems only as one-way cryptographic hashes — we do not store the plain tokens. Verification links are short-lived (about two hours), and the review request itself expires after about seven days unless renewed. A request that is never verified does not start a review.
Property Imagery and Aerial Review
After verification and, where required, operator approval, we prepare the roof review using the property’s location data and exterior aerial and satellite imagery of the property. The review covers the roof and building exterior only; we do not collect or review imagery of interior spaces.
Report Delivery and Dashboard Links
When a roof report or Roof Dashboard is ready, we deliver a secure link to the verified email address. These links are time-limited and are addressed to you; anyone who has the link can open the dashboard for that property, so treat the link like a private document and do not forward it to people who should not see the report.
Recovering a Dashboard
If you lose a dashboard link, you can request a fresh one by entering the property address and the email address on record for that property. If both match a record in our system, we email a new secure link to that on-record email address; if they do not match, no email is sent. The on-screen response is deliberately identical whether or not a record exists, so the recovery form cannot be used to test which addresses or email addresses are in our system.
Portfolio (Batch) Requests
A portfolio submission is previewed first: we count and de-duplicate the addresses you provide, but no coverage lookups or review jobs run until the portfolio email is verified and an operator approves the batch.
Optional OpenAI and Google Measurement
The public Roof Health front door may offer optional OpenAI and Google advertising measurement. Both tags are off by default and do not load or make provider network requests until a measurement choice has been resolved and you permit the applicable provider. If no public measurement ID is configured, measurement stays disabled.
A campaign URL may carry the opaque OpenAI opprefidentifier, a Google gclid, gbraid, or wbraid identifier, and limited utm_campaign labels. Roof Health allowlists, normalizes, and bounds those fields. Before consent, it keeps them only in page memory and the Roof Review form payload, together with the current consent state; it does not use local storage for opaque click IDs or log the raw query string.
The browser may send a page-view event after consent. It does not send a qualified Roof Review, roof condition, roof-walk, or sale conversion. OpenAI and Google identifiers remain in separate provider payloads and are not used as one shared identity. Any future server conversion matching will use one-way hashed contact data only where legally permitted and covered by consent, with a separate matching contract for each provider.
The browser tags do not receive the property address or work email entered in the form, Roof Dashboard contents, report findings, SMS opt-in records, or Service Alignment chat content. OpenAI measurement does not provide Service Alignment with access to a person’s ChatGPT chats. We retain request-linked attribution fields for up to 90 days and then delete or de-identify them unless a shorter period is required by a withdrawal or deletion request.
You may continue without measurement, change your choice through the on-page Measurement choices control, clear the consent cookie, or contact privacy@servicealignment.ai. Withdrawing consent stops future browser measurement events.
SMS / Text Messaging
With your consent, Service Alignment may send you text messages related to your inquiry and our roofing services — for example, follow-ups to a call or email, delivery of a roof report link, and appointment confirmations. Consent is obtained verbally during a live phone conversation with a Service Alignment representative: the representative asks for your permission to text you the roof report, follow-up information, and appointment confirmations, and discloses that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, that consent is not a condition of purchase, and that you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Only after you answer affirmatively does an authenticated representative record your consent, including its granted status, the verbal-call source, the acting representative, and a timestamp. Automated text messages are not sent unless that consent record exists. Where offered, consent may also be captured through a web form or text keyword. Providing consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message; you will receive a single confirmation that you are unsubscribed and will receive no more messages, and no further texts. To opt back in, reply START. Reply HELP or INFO at any time for help with your roof report or messages — you will receive a message directing you to support@servicealignment.ai — or contact us using the details below.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers that help us deliver messaging (such as our SMS provider) and only as needed to send the messages you have consented to receive. No mobile opt-in data is shared with third parties for marketing.
